Woodyholl are Bastian Jentschke and Philipp Mundt. The two filmmakers got to know each other in 2009 and have been working together since then as a directing-camera team for advertising and short film projects. With passion, leather jacket and humor, they tell idiosyncratic stories that are fun and uncompromising in their artistry. They do not take themselves too seriously, like the work in small teams and understand how to create maximum impact with minimum resources.
Bastian is a self-taught filmmaker. After countless skate videos and an internship in an advertising film production, Bastian moved from Stuttgart to Hamburg in 2004. He worked as a cameraman and editor in various theater, advertising film and television productions and realized film projects under his own management.
After studying Communication Design and training as a film editor, Philipp worked as a freelance editor in the film and television industry. In 2008, he founded his own film production company, completed training as a production manager and has since been directing.
